How do braces work?

Basically, braces move your teeth by applying constant pressure towards a specific direction. What to expect?

The molar bands will be used as anchors to move the teeth in conjunction with the brackets that will be placed at the end.

The brackets are small metal squares bonded to each tooth. The bracket guides and places the tooth in an ideal place with the help of a metal wire.

The metal wire will need to be changed periodically but not necessarily on every visit.
